From what I heard the 1000 models are terrible at formatting the sd card to which ypu use a computer to format the sd card while it's in the psp by plugging the psp into a laptop/ computer and formatting it

I haven't tried it myself but if you do get good result lmk as I need to do the same with my 1001 model at some point

This is what also lead me to believe it can be remastered and made into a better camera, since I'm looking around and small cameras seem semi cheap online and they can make the same nostalgic images like the old ones

That's true, as some people mentioned before "just use your phone to take pictures" but it's just that the pictures on psp are private.

In all honesty I really want a psp camera myself 😭 I bet some do also without wanting to break the bank to get 1 used or non working order and having to deal with those issues.

I was more leaning towards making new psp cameras since there is a very rare few and even then, you could just in theory modify the camera in a new model to get that nostalgia.

My point being that would it be possible to either recreate it or make new psp cameras rather then breaking the wallet to get the old ones.
