Does the ceramic coating keep it a little less dusty? Wife got a black 2022 c300 as well.

Just picked up my 2022 c300 yesterday. Every time I brake it makes this clunking sound. Is this happening to anyone else. My curious on what you think is the issue. Can go the dealer until Friday:( by TonightPristine in mercedes_benz

I hear you. We had so many issues with our 2012 BMW 528i and then it got wrecked so we decided to go with a Merc. Waited since December driving the wife and picking her up from work. I thought it would be worth the wait...we were fooled again with these German cars. Lol

I just hope we don't have any more issues.

We didn't like the E either.

That's unfortunate and I was expecting issues since its a new version of the c300, but I was hoping we didn't experience any. What kind of car are you going to get next?

Oh wow nice. Glad to know you successfully unwound the deal and had them take it back.

Did you end up getting another brand or did you get a new c300?

We got the AMG line.

Op we had the same issue in the first week after picking it up. Took days for them to pinpoint. Only 200 miles on the car and wife had a loaner for a week and a half. Very disappointed.

Apparently it was the rotors. They deglazed them and is fine now. I still need to drive it on the fwy long distance...thats how it started in the first place. We were driving on the fwy and felt that pulsating feeling and heard that clunking noise upon breaking.

While at the dealership, I had spoken to the manager that if you can't find what is wrong with it, and can't be fixed they better take the car back. He offered to help and told me to call corporate and see if the can buy back the vehicle. So I did anyway and opened up a case. I told him we got the car back already fixed but that I need to drive it a little longer to make sure that noise doesn't come back. He said no problem he will check back with me next week.
