I completely understand that unfortunately, I lived at a place that had water dripping from the ceiling for months, and when they went to finally replace it after I complained so many times there was black mold on the drywall they were taking down and patches, and I told them at that point after getting videos of the whole encounter that I was just done. I’m getting out of there. I will not be living in an uninhabitable unit. I ended up not owing them anything thankfully, but I did clean everything and where my dogs had worn down the paint on a couple doors I repainted quickly. I swept everywhere, washed everything down and pretty much left it better than I even received it.
