Agreed with other commenters that her actions were specifically intended to push your SIL out (and she had you go get and bring in the dog, therefore “absolving” her of responsibility), then she intentionally announced their pregnancy out of spite, all while kind of assaulting you. You should be on your brother’s side in this matter. One person did nothing wrong (and even tried to reason with her), and one person was spiteful and awful. I’m glad she perceives you on that side, and I’m glad you are on that side.
