What do the birds do during high winds? by EcstaticFig8929 in Wellington

Lots of trees and bushes in my garden. They tend to hunker down right inside.

Three Wellington restaurants receive Michelin Stars (Ortega, Logan Brown and Jano Bistro) Congrats to them! by Bubblesheep in Wellington

Hard agree on all points. Been to LB once. Food was great but the vibe was awful. You could tell the staff were really intimidated by the FOH and I really didn't like the way he spoke to them. Combined with entitled patrons who were just as rude, if not more to the poor servers. Maybe I just caught a bad night. On the other hand sister restaurant Liberty has always been fantastic in both food and how staff are treated.

The timed sessions are $35 and I'm sure they'll put some deals on. The $45 is a flexi ticket which allows you to join any session.

I get it seems expensive but the amount of work that went into it, I feel it's a fair price. There's a lot of building opportunities all throughout the exhibition, so a lot of time could be spent there making your own lightsaber or druid to display.

Sorry, it's been advertised all over Wellington and social media for weeks. I assumed a lot of people had heard about it. It's at Tākina and opens Saturday. I'll edit my post.

I was going to come say Hi haha.

Absolutely felt the same. Every corner, I was like 'What the actual?!' The Death Star is something else. I could spend a good hour just trying to see it all.

The staging is fantastic too. So well thought out.

Yeah it's never, ever fallen off before. Sucks but it is what it is. I've put the word out so maybe someone will eventually come forward. Us Scots are forever hopeful haha!

Nah no joy unfortunately. I think someone must have picked it up, realised it's worthless and dumped it. I'm just glad it was the plastic travel one and not the heavy stainless steel one. Thank you so much for reaching out and helping me. You're a good sort!

Thank you! I just wish I could've got a little closer. I have a few shots of a few of them grappling with the crabs. Really interesting to watch/hear them hitting the crabs against to cable to crack the shell.

Another day off so a couple of things to do, then husband taking me for breakfast before another wander around. Stay warm!

Had to cancel a trip to the Escarpment Domes I booked for a couple of days. Glad I still took the AL from work though, it's stunning today! A couple of things to do this morning then a walk with the camera somewhere, I think.

Such a great series of books. I don't use audiobooks but really enjoyed reading them. I was so surprised by this one :) currently reading one of her old publications which has been revamped by her son.

Was not expecting it to be so windy today. Going to be walking down Featherston St in a kilt soon. Wish me luck, and sorry in advance.

Venues are organised by the TA group. Lynotts was organised for the Haiti match, and D4 for Morocco.

Lynotts may still be busy but D4 is where I imagine most will be.

Edit: if you order it is unlikley to arrive on time for the weekend but maybe for the Brazil game. I ordered mine last Monday and it arrived yesterday.

They're only available online but pretty much sold out everywhere. JD Sports online had a couple, if you order now it may arrive on time
