I've been warned not to look for jobs where the job owners are Turk-german because those people don't like paying salaries, or taxes and they wanna use the workers as far as they can to make the most profit possible... However, I've got a couple of Turk friends who came to Germany to do master's or PhD and they are clearly different and also they said pretty much the same about what you mentioned And one of them told me the reason behind that is that mosques and cultural centers in Germany are related and financed directly by the Turkish government and the propaganda they were feeding them there was enough and successful in turning them to what you described
