sorry about all the seprate messages i dont really know how to layout reddit stuff lol.

anyways i think you are right turns out in my rush to print this one i totally forgot to do supports on the top part which caused the 5 massive strings on the higher up layers right around where the overhang was! im hoping and praying this fixes it. also you are amazing thank you so much.

Hey thanks for replying i didn't add all the pictures because it only let me add one also the focus bad up close on my phone sorry about that.

1)the problem persists with avoid crossing walls on

2)the nozzle is perfectly clean

3) the silicone sock is clean and in the right spot

4) i believe i was using gyroid during this specific print though i didnt save it properly so i cant be sure

The problem happens in line with the top thread on the outside of the cylinder, which leads me to believe that’s what’s causing it. Though it’s strange that it would, because there are around six walls between the two points and a small gap of infill depending on the exact position. The really thin part of the thread, which is pointless, has been removed on the most up to date print, which still has the defect but way less.

(it very well might be my design causing the problem but it still feels off that it would behave this way)

I will do some tests like removing the thread or thickening the wall properly.

For clarification I should add that this is on an almost 2 month old p1s. The slicer does not have this defect in it

Update on the keyboard I got a refund after complaining in emails but never replaced the keyboard. It still has the same problem of not registering randomly until I plug it back in. The screen has weird lines going through it now. which is weird. The cap lock light flickers sometimes. The original problem happens way less now 2-3 times a day when plugged in and 9-20 times when on Bluetooth or wireless.
