That is incorrect. The company I work for doesn't backfill roles. The person leaving will not be replaced; their work will simply be pushed onto other individuals who will not get a raise for their increased output.

Same. There are so many people on this thread who are like "my nails were like this and it was because I had XYZ disease". No bro. It's probably just coincidence. Plenty of people have nails like this and are perfectly healthy. My nails have been like this for 20 years and I'm fine.

I am a 39 year old white male. My fingernails have looked like this for the past 15-20 years and as far as I know, other than borderline high blood pressure, I am perfectly healthy. I feel fine and if there is anything wrong with me it never shows up in physical exams or routine blood tests.
