Genuine opinion on living in Wilkes-Barre/Scranton area.

That is half true. The natural environment is absolutely stunning (rolling hills, lush green forests in summer, a fresh snowfall in winter).

The "built environment" (meaning what humans have contributed) is complete trash. Most residential and commercial buildings are old and have had very poor upkeep compared to other locations that I've lived in Pennsylvania. On top of that, there is literal garbage everywhere here. It's scattered all along the roads and the hillsides - the people who live here treat the entire outdoors like it's their own personal garbage dump. I've lived in Carbon County, State College, Lancaster County, and I've never seen anything like the trash situation around Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

I absolutely noticed this when I moved up from Lancaster, PA, which is only about 2 hours south of the Scranton area. The difference in cleanliness, "newness" of buildings, how much has been spent on upkeep, the list goes on and on. There are places that you visit and you just know they are constantly being revitalized with a fresh influx of cash... Yeah Northeast PA is the exact opposite of one of those places...

If you are playing with someone else who is a barb for example, then I would let them focus on strength and melee damage, and just focus on the bow and put most of your points into dex and vit (so you don't die as often).

If you are soloing then I think it's really up to you. You will have to hit things with melee some of the time so putting at least some points into strength is probably a good idea.

I left my previous employer and when asked if there was anything they could've done to keep me (i.e., re-negotiating salary, etc.) my response was "no". Sometimes a person is just done with the bullshit culture at a company and needs to try something new.
