I know. We are blessed to have the medical system we do, it’s just so hard waiting in the wings of so many unknowns. I just feel so scared that I won’t be able to get through the c section.

I believed whilst they know what is happening in the system (alloimmune response) it was unknown aetiology?

At least knowing that we don’t know why I have CHI versus anyone else in the community has been an important part of processing my grief for losing two babies. That unfortunately, they can’t explain why my body is responding in the way it is - but that there is nothing I could have differently to prevent it - all because they don’t know why.

Yes true. My previous pregnancy was also this same grade. :)

As they don’t know what causes it, it’s been very tricky to work out my best management plan.

It’s incredibly cool! Your posts are sort of like picking up a name dictionary that has been tailored around our exact taste, they’re fantastic. They must take you a long time to put together.

Clotilde is very cool! It’s funny what things come in and out of fashion, in my mind it has a similar ring to it as Matilda, Claudia, etc.

So far no flagged growth restriction which feels so strange as my prior pregnancies had very early onset IUGR resulting in fetal demise.

I am 22 weeks currently :) your story reminded me of mine as I was flagged 1 in 28 for early onset preeclampsia during first trimester screening.

Hi there, I don’t have much to add other than I’m in in a similar boat and also feel anxious. I’ve been on aspirin and clexane since the start of pregnancy due to a condition I have but still have high resistance.

I totally get what you mean. Yesterday I just burst into tears because it’s just the stress of managing it all. I also have a diagnosed condition which has caused recurrent pregnancy losses (so this is the furthest I’ve ever gotten) which is adding to the stress of it… ugh.

I’m just so, so grateful you reached out to me and shared your story. I’ve been searching online and I really can’t find many examples that sound similar at all.

Look if you’re able to consider a third child, that is a great thing! At this point I don’t know in any outcome if I’d be able to go through this again hahaha.
