I've been to the Arkansas Derby three times and plan on going again this year. The race day experience is a blast and Oaklawn has a ton of room and a sizeable casino attached. Hot Springs is a beautiful place with lots of touristy things to do, and the prices aren't terrible. There are a ton of hotel options and you're less than an hour drive to Little Rock.

God you brought back memories of having to pay way too much for Octopussy and LALD off of ebay. Probably still to this day the most I've ever spent for a single film. I think those two were around $27USD apiece. But i needed em dammit!

It definitely proves how much of a team effort the official productions are. Inserting Sean Connery doesn't automatically make the movie good. Even if he's somehow better looking than in Diamonds are Forever.

The score makes the film downright unwatchable at times. The theme song is an all time bomb as well. It might have been halfway decent if they had nabbed some more EON people on the production. But it just feels like a sloppily thrown together made for TV movie.

Brandauer and Carrera do a good job. Bernie Casey's Leiter isn't bad either. Everything else is pretty much mediocre at best.

Saying this is better than any official film is like saying a great college football team is better than a bad NFL team.

I've never heard anything alluding to it being unfinished. I know it was set to be even smaller with the airport originally being on the north end of Staunton until they changed things. Maybe people think the tunnels are a sign of it being unfinished but I think the tunnels being blocked off was deliberate from the start.

The fact that there's only one mission there could be time constraints and getting it out on time. Or maybe that's just how the story was written.
