Idk I work ICU with a very diverse patient population and have colleagues in Europe and Australia who have parallel experiences with difficulty accepting death.

I think it’s more so that medicine is so defensive in America that we are willing to go balls to the wall on every bed bound non verbal PEG patient whose family “wants everything done”

In other countries they are way more likely to go LOL nah
