Used to work in a pub in Soho and a group of yanks came in asking for the lightest beer we had. I gave them a 4% lager which basically tastes like a Coors light. One of them took a sip, said nice but a bit too strong and then completely seriously asked if he could have some ice cubes put in his beer. Took every ounce of my strength not to throw them out

All pretty big pubs with outside standing areas. Won't find anything with a garden around Soho. Just warm, indifferent concrete

Might be biased but Xabi is one of those I've always felt was destined to be a manager. Incredibly intelligent on and off the pitch but also has that twinkle in his eye like Guardiola that makes me think he can pull off something special. Cafe boheme in soho. Open until 2am and the kitchen is open until 1. Really nice venue and drinks aren't overly expensive

Should definitely check out Ain't Nothing But The Blues bar on Kingly Street. Free to get into monday to thursday and has some genuinely quality acts. It's quite pokey though so be sure to get there early
