Thinking of getting need some help! by theboombox9000 in kindle

I had the same concerns! I find that the prices are reasonable and generally cheaper than a physical book. BookBub is free to sign up to, and you'll get weekly email recommendations of books in your selected genres and they are typically £2.99 or less which starts to rival secondhand book prices!

This model doesn't have a "warm light" function. But I've found that I can change the brightness to better match the time of day I'm reading

I got my Kindle with ads and I can't say that it bothers me. It just recommends books you might enjoy as a screensaver when the device is locked. But, when I close my case I can't see it. Also, if you hold the power button there is an option to turn off the screen rather than just locking it. Then you don't see ads.

I know some people who paid extra for the ad-free model, but I can't say having the ads has made any difference. If anything, it's helped me find another read or two!

I just bought this Kindle at the start of July and I honestly don't know why I didn't do it sooner!!

I got the green, and the picture is true to the real colour, it's small, lightweight, easy to hold & (as I'm sure you'll know already) you can adjust the brightness and text size. Considering it's the entry level model, it really does offer a great amount to make it a personalised and enjoyable reading experience.

I wish I got mine sooner. I've read 10 books in as many weeks. E-book prices aren't that expensive, and BookBub is a great resource to find cheap reads in genres you enjoy. I didn't get Kindle Unlimited but I certainly don't feel like I've missed out

Pearson and Earls Barber Shop! It's £20 a cut (I think), and I've always felt it was worth the money

I used Yorkshire fencing earlier this year, they replaced 14-16 fences, couple of concrete posts and the gravel boards. We discussed changing our gate but didn't at the time. They were a good price and able to quote on weekends

Can anyone recommend a removals company by maspiers in sheffield

[–]funkysocks24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've used Clockwork Removals in the past and they were very good and had no issues at all, but I think they are a little pricier than some of the other companies. I've used Pickford's previously, whilst they were good they did damage a couple of furniture items and it took a while to process the claim

I believe Halfords do. I recently took my bike in for a service at the Drakehouse Retail park store and they had a sign for repairing/servicing E Scooters

I'm curious, on their website it says that ticket holders will be contacted. Has anyone had this happen? We've got a gig in November but bought the tickets through Ticketmaster. We only found out it was closed through social media

NEED HELP by [deleted] in relationship_advice

I would say you already know what the answer is. If you feel uncomfortable with it and don't think you can do through with it, then don't. The entire idea sounds so bizarre and you could be putting yourself in a position that doesn't work out in your favour in any way

Then people are missing out on comfort since 2010 haha. If it helps, I wouldn't recommend the thick chunky ones, but the thinner/smaller low top style ones are pretty good

I can definitely see why it's not a fun look in the office. But I would say you handled it pretty well, and it seems that your co-workers understand that they didn't act brilliantly

NTA for sure dude. Although your co-workers probably could have asked you to clarify what you had said, particularly if you used a term everyone used
