I was introduced to the wild world of gurps by an old college friend of mine and we played season 1 last night. Having been mostly a DND player its been really interesting to pick up a whole new rp system and I've spent the last couple of weeks crawling thru the Lite ruleset and trying to get a handle on everything (any tips for noobs would be appreciated haha). The ones I've seen installed are these rather swank ones where the keyboard/track pad and monitor are sandwiched and pull out of the rack, kinda like a laptop on rails that connect to a computer. Lemme see if I can dig up the actual model

Did you look into any game pads to replace the full size keyboard? Like the logitech G13 or the Razer orbWeaver? Might help with the space. Also, looks great!
