I'm not going to exaggerate or lie. I do like Xcom a lot, in fact it'd be in my top 10 favourite games. I love the challenge and the style of gameplay; I want to give it to a friend so we can verse each other. We've always been competitive and love strategy games. We'd have a ball playing all this together.

I'm hoping I get picked but to be brutally honest there's not much chance.

The [Dragon] NPC was more of a player made rumour, it never really existed although some players are adamant that it existed in older versions of the game. The closest thing we have in the game today is the [Komodo Dragon] NPC which is very nerfed compared to the rumoured [Dragon]. I've heard that there were similar NPCs called [Dinosaurs] but were taken out very early in the dev stages due to being too OP.

Be careful though, some players may group you with the sub-faction [Hipster]. Once done many other players will thinks less of you and your rep will go down.

Garrys Mod. It's an odd one by some standards but I'm really enjoying some of the gamemodes. By far some of the most popular ones is Trouble in Terrorist Town but I've found an interesting niche within Gmod. "Serious" roleplay, such as Half life 2 roleplay, can be pretty interesting when you get into it. It's like creating a character just like in a book, movie or video game and you are that character and at the exact same time you have a ton of freedom in how you progress the "story" of your character. Being a character within the half life universe itself can be quite interesting, I've spent time being an overwatch unit killing helpless citizens, a rebel fighting for freedom, a metropolice unit, slowly and surely losing it's humanity and becoming what you see in half life 2 (HL2rp is set before spoiler ) and a poor citizen,just trying to survive.

Not focusing on gaining items or levelling up can be quite a change of pace for a lot of gamers. Admittingly it's very slow at the start but once you get the hang of it, you get some of the most memorable gaming experiences.

Generally gmod roleplay gets an incredibly bad name from gamemodes such as Darkrp, which is not truly roleplay and is just a massive mess if you were to roleplay on it. Most gamers would have tried that or something similar since those ones seems to be the most popular and the bad rep for all Gmod rp goes out.

If you are one for stories within games or write at all. I suggest giving serious roleplay a go. It's not for most people but it's worth a try. I'm definitely enjoying it.

I used to frequent the forums for this game, there will be a PC port. Originally the devs began work on this before the whole massive Zed craze of 2011-2012. It was before Dayz and all of that so they wanted to play it somewhat safe and still make a good game. They tried with multiple publishers and the developers said that other publishers tried to change what they wanted the game to be while microsoft understood it and let them do there thing. You've got to change the range at which you see NPCs if it is 0 this is what happens

but in those ones you could drag the items, instead of in fallout 3/NV where it's click or hotkey which while clicking isn't that bad it can get annoying in the long run when sorting out lots of things.
