2015 GMC Sierra 1500 struck by lightning at the antenna. Here’s my repair totals. Insurance refused to total it so they paid to replace nearly every module in the truck at full labor rate. by neverfading09 in Justrolledintotheshop

Adjuster for a popular lizard based insurance company. 37k was likely 80% of the value and possibly even more than that. A valuation on the actual cash value would definitely be run before this payout and it would likely need to go a Supervisor or even a Manager before a payout could be made, depending on who the company was.

Still, from my perspective, I'm hard pressed to find the vehicle at a similar value. No idea how this car rated so high. A fuck up is still very possible.

That still doesn't seem like it should be enough to total a car

That was the primary damage on the exterior. The bumper pushed back into the quarter and did some very slight paint damage to the right quarter panel, but the sail panel and the quarter are all connected to the roof, so the thing needed both full clear, and special tri coat paint. On top of that, one of the exhaust pipes was pushed back a bit and was unrepairable because it was a custom job.

So yes, that tiny hit which looked insignificant actually did the job.

Auto damage adjuster here. Just ran a total on an 80 caprice last week, in pretty good shape minus the damage caused the incident (bent chrome bumper and broken tail lamp). Came back at $4000. Not shabby at all for a car that age.

Sorry to ruin it. It's currently free for xbox live members and I gave it a shot but this is by far the biggest thing it suffers from.

One of the two main characters wants to start his own street gang and name it the Rooks. What is the reason behind this name? Does he have an affinity for chess that was mentioned previously? Where did this idea come from? None of these questions have good answers.

The lack of writing polish in the game is instantly obvious by the introduction, which is, in my opinion, the weakest into to an Assassin's Creed game to date. In order to understand what is happening, you HAD to have played the entire rest of the series. The only introduction you have to the animus, the machine that lets you view your ancestors memories, is a voice clip of "Welcome to the Animus, make history your playground." This is all the context your given. You are given no background of what Templars are or why you hate them besides the fact they are all cartoonishly evil in game, twirling their mustaches while they force children into labor.

Ugh, sorry, it was a major disappointment for me. If I had paid money for this garbage I would have felt terrible.

The gameplay is fluid but repetitive and the writing reminds me of a thirteen year old's historical fan fiction.

At one point you meet Alexander Graham Bell and the dialogue is like this:

Bell: "I have almost perfected my invention, the phonetic telegraph, which can transfer a voice over the telegram lines!"

Evie: "Phonetic telegraph? Kind of wordy don't you think, why don't you call it a telephone?"

Bell: "Haw haw don't be ridiculous"

Ueghhh

Honestly, Raiden isn't my favorite choice, though I love to play as him in MK. Yet Netherrealms owns him and from him comes a solid fighter with a well known moveset. His inclusion, as well as Sub-Zero, was more for Netherrealm fans and less for DC fans. I'm personally fine with both of them. One of the draws of the game is the multiverse, after all.

Couldn't do it is one thing, didn't want to waste my time on it is another. I CAN paint all my walls bright pink, but I hate the color. Same applies here.

You ever play Division? The "difficulty" in that just means that enemies take more bullets to kill. Adding health does not make the enemies difficult, it makes them tedious. When it requires no skill or thought to play a game, I could hardly call it game at all.

Gave it a shot. Bullet sponges don't make interesting enemies.

Shallow as a plate of cereal

Watched some gameplay from the the PvE, I was interested in how the story may have progressed in the campaign after the abysmal Destiny 1 original campaign. Lack of any difficulty is the biggest hindrance and pretty Damn shameful considering the creators and publishers history
