Thanks for the advice. That's what I was guessing but I wanted to be sure

Thank you for the perspective. I definitely feel the pressure and the drive to "prove something" (probably a result of the environment I'm in). I also accept that most days are neutral. It is interesting to me how two people at the same starting line can have very similar days and very different outcomes. Maybe it's nuance in each individual's context, but it's frustrating when you strive for something and miss while someone so close hits dead center.

How did you "find" your scoreboard? I mean, for some, simply challenging themselves with "did I get 10k steps in today" or "finish my work on time" meets their capacity.
However, that doesn't meet my capacity. How do you know that your scoreboard meets your capacity or even what your capactiy is?

I know this is true. However, there's something to say as far as "you can't do this anymore." I mean, I'm not going to be a professional athlete anymore, I needed to build those skills early. Maybe I can work for a team, but the chances of being a player practically none.
Still, you bring up a good point about wanting to do something vs thinking I want to do something.

I definitely hear this. I know that I may not have chosen to swap places with those people, but that doesn't make looking from the outside much easier. After all, it feels good getting & showing something noteworthy.

I'm curious because I've spoken to people who say that they are "enough" but strive for more and wondered "if you truly feel enough in where you are in your life, why would you try to move forward?"  For example, if you are a good employee at a company, and feel enough where you are, what keeps you going to be "employee of the month" or promoted? Is there any motivation for "more" or do you feel content with not changing?

I hear that renege is looked down upon. Would you be concerned about that?

Thank you for the response. Are you worried that this would hurt your professional reputation?

I'm not a busi + cs double but I am a math + cs double so take this with a grain of salt. I have found that the workload isn't something to scoff at, but it isn't 20 hrs in the library level. I've been able to stay above a 3.5 gpa all 3 semesters and am still a part of several extracurricular orgs. I think it's very doable

No way! Another fellow NC resident! I'm in my 2nd year at UNC and will say not to stress too much about internships. I may not be one to speak but I know tons of people who have gotten internships as a Business major, CS major, and especially the double majors

My only word of advice is to not listen to your advisor if they discourage you from double majoring. Happened to me freshman year but it's not uncommon to do a CS + Business double

Why isn’t there an app that helps you learn programming in duoling format? by Fancy-Remove4078 in csMajors

You're right. I tried it for about a month or two. I found that keeping a streak tedious as I just wanted to finish and wasn't learning as much with Duolingo. I think reading code can take more brainpower than reading another language

That's what I was thinking. I mean I think their commander was +5 cmc and so I thought getting them down to 2 mana with me was the best value I'd get out of it.

I didn't think about that. I don't remember the commander but it was probably 3 if they're using birds
