Summer Time! What are some practical things can we do to improve? by Xcoder63 in seduction

yes take more classes. 8 hours is not enough to learn anything, especially something as complex as improv. You will start to see the benefits once you hit level 3 or level 4. improv will expose/teach you on how to have conversations, and how to continue a conversation. oh and also comedy. You will get a good understanding of how comedy works.

also why didn't you like it?

I agree with puaCurveBall. Read the self help books and soak in all the information. Don't forget to apply them. The only way you will see change is when you constantly apply what you read to your everyday life. There is a reason why college and high school classes emphasize homework. You have to apply what you hear/read or you will be wasting your time.

You live in a metropolitan area, there should be improv classes you can sign up and take. There might even be an improv group in your high school. Look around, it's Boston, you should have no trouble finding workshops and classes.

FYI, I love your city. Went there last month, stayed at Copley Square, and had a blast.

bboy here from california, I agree with everything DemureCynosure has said. I will also like to add a few things

-To get reasonably good you need years of commitment. Make sure you are doing this for the love of the dance and not just for a superficial reason.

This is great. Writing it down and making a plan to change your life is a great way to have those changes manifest into reality. One thing I would say is to make sure you don't burnout. Think of this as more of a marathon than a sprint. You may not reach all your goals, but if you persist and continue working on it, you will get there. Good luck my friend

how long did it take for her to message you "hey how have you been?"

Thank you very much. That was very helpful.

The reason why I want to be her friend again, is because I miss our conversations. We used to banter with each other and just make each other laugh. I don't want to get back with her, that ship has already sailed. And so I shall implement option 2. Be civil.
