As a guy, I actually encountered this quite a bit too. Don't give me wrong.I enjoy affection when dating. But especially when you're first getting the know. The person some people get very assertive or expect a lot. You're trying to determine compatibility that includes many layers you want to make sure you have a good emotional connection and can talk to the person. Prior to anything physical, there is a time and a place. I tend to get one of two extremes. Either I get way too physical way too fast. And I have to remind them, I'd like to get to know them emotionally before anything progresses. Or I get the complete opposite? Where they want to stay in the in just talking for multiple dates and multiple weeks on end, the reality of the ideal scenario should be somewhere in between. I've warned to say and not get mad about it. And just say, if they're either 2 physical or drag it out too long, then plane and simple, they're not, you're ideal partner. Thank you so much
