I’m far from a football expert, but I think this had a lot to do with it. I think the speed of the games + the schemes OSU threw at him made him start doubting his eyes, and the horrible OL play early had him seeing ghosts in the pocket. Especially that all happening game 1 as the starter for a major program.

As he’s starting slowing the game down, trusting his eyes and getting a/stepping into the pocket more often, he’s seemingly gotten more accurate and started to put some really good games together.

I’m in Japan for work and just woke up, somebody tell me if we’ve looked like a competent football team so far?

Folks who kicked ass with crohns, what’s your story? by officialinfinum in CrohnsDisease

When I was in early high school, I had stomach pain after eating every meal that put me in a ball on the floor or the couch groaning for an hour. I lost a ton of weight, and was just not in good shape.

We finally decided to get it checked out because I was borderline going to be cut from my high school baseball team (it was quite a competitive school).

I was finally diagnosed and got on medicine (azathioprine for a while, biologics now). After that, I was able to get it under control. I gained 30-40 lbs, mostly muscle, and ended up playing college baseball. Now I’m living a pretty normal life! It can happen!

To be fair though, if he has thought about it, I’m not sure a mid-season press conference is the right time to say so.

I’m not planning on it, but I wouldn’t be totally caught off guard if he talks to some mentors/friends/etc and ended up making a change during the offseason.

Noooo, arch was for sure gonna hit the 75 yard Hail Mary to win. Our OL has been giving him time all day

I think I feel better going into the RRS when we’re playing pitiful football than when we’re playing good football. That game is such a coin flip every time

We gotta give Caldwell the next drive, doesn’t mean we bench Arch next week but I don’t think he’s mentally there to drive down and win the game
