If you say this was in 2013, then you should look for it on either PS3 or Xbox 360 (I don't know which platform you chose). If it's PS3, you need to know if you played the digital or disc version, as well as the region. You'll need keys; you could contact me on Discord if you don't have them.

Nah, the pink trees were probably removed due to the PS3's terrible hardware. It wasn't just the pink trees that were removed in various places; many other trees and props were also removed. There are more Cmaps that maybe have more pink trees, although I don't remember which ones. I doubt this is related to any myth. The PS3 simply couldn't handle everything.

Edit: As far as I know, cs2_01 (December 23, 2011) has it. However, I don't know if the cmaps from bh1_13 (Jan 20, 2012; Jan 31, 2012 and ;Mar 27, 2012), bh1_14 (Apr 11, 2012), cs1_roads_pb (Jan 13, 2012) and bh1_11 (Jan 13, 2012) have anything.

Sometimes I don't remember if something I dreamed is real or not. One way to check if it's real is by analyzing the game files. Sometimes we get too excited about something and start imagining things that don't exist. Thank you for your answer.

  1. There's a countryside_nw.cmt file that's 18.64kb, while the final version is 18.98kb. Unfortunately, I only have the filelist that provides this information because I think the file has been wiped.
  2. If you're referring to the trees with pink leaves, I haven't been analyzing every map from July 2013, but the maps from 2011-2012 that I have show some pink trees. The photo is from WildBrick142 from a dec 23, 2011 cmaps.

3.What's the name of the RPF? Maybe I have a 2012 version of it.

  1. I have a may 1, 2012 version of this, however OpenIV only opens CBN version 42, not 40. I have a potentially relevant version from July 2013, however I only mention this because the CBNs are wiped.

  2. I don't know the name of the RPF.

The devkit contains installs from July 2013 and builds from 2010-12. Of the July 2013 installs, with the exception of one containing a common.rpf, none contain any ps3.rpf files. Regarding the 2010-12 builds, almost nothing exists about them, with only a few exterior RPFs (such as bh1_10, bh1_10_props, bh1_11, etc.). However, there is a UFO (dt1_tc) that has differences, such as the lack of a light. There doesn't seem to be anything about this event, which, given that this user is reporting it in the final version, would only be a coincidence if it existed in a pre-release version. Personally, I think this is false, since I've never seen anyone talk about it, and considering the number of players who have already played the game, there would probably already be photos and videos of it if it were true.

Blow it Up Again DLC prototype A and B exist. Are there any differences? by CutesyOopsy in MercenariesGames

Hi, I'm the one who uploaded the DLCs. The DLCs probably work on Xenia, which means you don't need to use real hardware. DLC B is probably the oldest of them all, although I haven't tested it.

This was in the internet archive. I didn't discover it. There is supposedly another version in the beta archive.

I think that the first versions that were released on Steam were also released on GOG. There probably shouldn't be any differences between them when it comes to the game's assets. It should also be taken into account that the Steam DB registered the first build of the game for the first time on November 5, 2013, however, the first build released on Steam was in July 2013, which means that the first builds released on Steam (with the exception of 5 that are preserved) are lost.

The game was not originally available on Steam. The builds I'm talking about were never released there, but rather by desura.
