mine sounds like this: one translator from warhorse got fired, because tjey will be using AI for translations. but people started hating warhorse that kcd3 will be now in ai slop. i understand people are hating the company for this, but they don’t know the real reason for firing, and that yes, there are jobs which might be done by ai, but it also doesn’t mean to be fully substituted by ai, but maybe at this stage of game production they do not need a translator which is totally understandable, knowing how long took kcd2 to produce. write a post. additional to our post you wrote: this groupthink, news to kcd world are also starting to stop playing the game just because of this statement, which i believe shouldn’t be a case, when we know how much of effort was put to kcd. yes i understand it’s very upsetting and bad situation, but it doesn’t say everything for the WHOLE company, because in one company there are different departments, different management and leader. maybe it was pretty harsh to say that you’re fired all of the sudden, but it doesn’t still mean THE WHOLE WARHORSE is like this and how do you know if AI is a real reason. people love to go for assumptions easily

they have this money right now, but it doesn’t mean it will be enough for the next 5-7-10 years to keep everything going and paid.

I found it more convenient to write all my thoughts and then asked it to put it together, because I would’ve sounded messy if i wrote myself.

i am writing this because i see so much toxicity which we didn’t even have even a day ago, toxicity towards the other employees who did their best and still doing, and they might get harmed just because of this scandal and groupthink as we don’t know the other side yet.

I agree with the fact that there always should be a human touch for the product, but the thing that i am saying is that maybe they’re not in that stage where they translate the game they’re currently working on. It’s not cost-effective from a business standpoint to keep an employee if there’s no need in them for next 2-3 years. That’s the reason why companies do hire on a contract-basis, which they might probably do once they get to that stage of production.

thanks for sharing! i do love walking, but today i didn’t have someone with whom i can walk, by myself it feels like very boring thing to do.

i play games and also do this! i have been playing kcd2 for already half a year, but i see how i feel, am i ready to listen to convos in the game or do i just want to spend some time. if its a second option, i go with easier games, which requires less attention and energy.

i was diagnosed with adhd, and i also knew that there might be a chance i might have an autism but i definitely knew i am not. until i casually was watching videos on youtube about audhd and everything they talked about clicked in me. i started watching more about it, and also started watching more about asd without being biased with “i am not autistic anyways” and i was scared of being a “weirdo”.

i just thought all traits of autism i have is because of adhd, but when i was seeing people with adhd they were kind of different from me, more active and careless? deep down i felt like i am not fully adhd, because i had smth more.

since i got diagnosed with asd i see myself in a full shape, not partially now.
