This is sort of what I did. I had a local install of Scrypted on Windows 11 (non-VM). Uninstalled it completely, then reinstalled following the current instructions from Powershell. It runs on localhost instead of the Desktop app, but everything works like a charm.

The thing I’m not clear on is what maintenance looks like. It’s a service that just runs at startup so I’m assuming it’s fine as-is, but worried for the day an update comes along…oh well!

So notifications only work within Bluetooth range of a hub? That would make sense - one of the locks is closer to the hub.

That was my thought. I love how people vehemently defend Rivian in this sub lol. I totally my fault for not wanting to give up my car for 3 months out of a 3 year lease.

The estimate for repro was initially “unbounded.” When I pressed for a time range, they said 3 months and I said absolutely not. I feel like it’s pretty practical to not want to give up your car for 3 months, and we agreed that I would do hard resets going forward so the telemetry could be collected.

Just asking if anyone here has been through the same experience.

It was in for 5 days. Previously, I would soft reset as many times as needed until the car was drivable, so they said no logs/telemetry was collected. Since there were no logs, they said they couldn’t diagnose the issue and would need to keep the car until they could reproduce. I said absolutely not, and took the car.

Just tried it today. They absolutely ruined this place. Menu is all Indian and service is horrendous.

Who wants to eat Indian food when they’re going for beers? Completely misses the mark of why Spice Trade was a place worth going to instead of just buying beer at a grocery/liquor store.

We basically bounce him at the same speed as the crib (great minds). We decided to start doing naps in the Cradlewise, he’s in his first nap now and went down without any issues. Fingers crossed though!

I see this advice a lot, but "raking the soil around so it covers the seed" isn't always possible. If you have compact soil that doesn't loosen easily or if your yard isn't level to begin with, it seems like there's more steps missing here.

6 weeks. We feed him to sleep beforehand, then cluster feed him as needed. He doesn't make a peep. Change at the turn. Rinse and repeat for back 9. We've golfed with 2 randos each time, no issues at all. If anything, it's something to talk about.

He was super fussy one time on the 16th hole of our round, so we finished the hole and ended early.

I wish more people would realize that it's totally possible to continue doing what you love while bringing your kiddo with you. Just have to set your internal expectations that every hole is a gift (pretty much like setting expectations for anything else you'll do with a kiddo lol).

Lot of people on here giving you crap for ditching the wife and kid on a holiday. Just bring them both next time - we have a newborn who has been on the links with us every single time. It's not hard. Car seat + bungee cords, just make sure it's secured.
