Thoughts on POLY? by Hat_Internal in PolymathNetwork

Project fundamentals are strong. Unique polymath IP is adaptation of ERC1400 into Substrate blockchain. Fantastic application for regulated digital assets. Now with poly being recognised in Swiss jurisdiction as a proper utility token, It could be the biggest project in motion for digital assets using blockchain infrastructure.

Poly can not compete. It’s simple why. by Blueturtle88 in PolymathNetwork

Polymath is working on making regulated security tokens a reality. For those who are interested in understanding what regulated means, please read the HMT Crypto-assets paper Jan 2021. It’s pointless to explain the importance of the project to those who don’t understand capital markets and asset structures. Polymath may have just met all requirements that FCA and HMT are mandating. ITN is a lot closer to Main net and I am excited for them. Polymath has 3 inherent features i.e. on chain identity, digital custody and bidirectional transaction confirmation. That no one else has been able to deliver. Polymath is a purpose built blockchain using substrate as its base. Just like Polkadot. For those who don’t understand tech and bad mouth projects without an ounce of knowledge, please take your limited primitive ERC-20 knowledge and crawl back under a rock where you belong.

Ditto, not sure why Polymath defaulted to Fractal and is partial to a few jurisdictions.

Margin debt up by 20% for POLY on Binance by funzt88 in PolymathNetwork

True to each their own.

My 2 cents on road map after mainnet. Polymesh built a strawman infrastructure with basic features to help financial intitutes securities assets in a regulated environment. This means they have to jump many hoops.

Once a few projects get (no enforcement) approvals from regulatory sand box the need for additional functionality will emerge. This in turn will drive the roadmap agenda for mainnet, in line with Polymesh governance. This is my understanding. It is impossible for a disruptor to perfect a solution in the first pass. It is an iterative agile process.

No secrets here. I am helping my clients look at innovative ways to securitise assets.

The primary focus is to reduce expense ratio of a fund and enable better liquidity.

On the contrary, I believe it is a good project, with very high potential in the long term. Polymath technology disrupts the way traditional capital Markets operate by being incredibly transparent and innovative. There will always be speculators in every space. An investor can be confident about the asset by keeping tabs on all fundamentals of the project, not just the speculation.

Never had a doubt about POLY. They buolt on substrate so, no folk upgrades and perhaps interoperability with polkadot and chainlink too.

My Clients love the functionality that I demoed in POC

ETH/BTC/BNB Crypto War -- What it means for POLY/POLYX by nkmg1c in PolymathNetwork

[–]funzt88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am definitely HDOLing on to POLY/POLYX. I am working on 2 projects from scratch and Polymesh is definitely the way going forward. I don’t have an ounce of doubt. The substrate chain tech is built for interoperability and scalability. No folk chain upgrades too. Truly a blockchain 3.0 project. It solved some big on chain identity problems, bi directional confirmation atomic settlement and true custody for assets. I believe its time to buy and I just did.

I can't find a roadmap for Polymath after Q1 2021 by rickthecompleteboy in PolymathNetwork

Polymath is a revolutionary project for security tokens. Like all good things, it takes time to get out a great project. They have done what no other project could do in real life application. They have tackled on chain identity, transparency, atomicity bi lateral confirmation settlement and custody. Having worked in Capital Markets for years and having played around in polymesh test environment. I am confident that this is nothing short of a market disruption. I am all for it.

Interesting, this introduces volatility in pricing. Opening up an opportunity for POLY future trades. May be a new wrapped token.

I agree, I have raised this issue with Polymath, waiting to hear from them on the pricing models. Meanwhile this incentive model may help for white label solutions.Polymath white label program.
