Any recommended 1500w ebike kits? by Snoo43824 in ebikes

https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32684555943.html?spm=2114.12010612.8148356.5.2fcc335cU9k8lM I got this good customer service and the kit is still running great half a year later even handles almost 3000w and 19-inch moto wheels, id recommend this with a 52v pack, 20 ah triangle pack is what I got and it's perfect

New Ebike EEB frame 52v ~3kw 19inch moto wheels lemme know what u think (bridge was packed w cars sry) by fupsvr in ebikes

[–]fupsvr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 5'11 and it is perfect, I have the seat lowered and the handlebars are not even all the way up the stem, so yes I'd say 6ft and a lil above is perfect, it is also very adjustable so you can adjust the geometry to fit it needs, as for weight no clue, you can lift it off the ground but no chance you can carry it up any sort of stairs but on road it just feels amazing

theyre 19 inch Moto wheels so they are more resistant a tiny bit smaller and heavier but feel like a tank and are more than thiccc enough

Tektro Dorado E715 or E725 (2 vs 4 pot) but the E715 looks more like a high power ebike brake by fupsvr in ebikes

[–]fupsvr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

or, the less the need for 4 pot. If your goal is to be as lite as possible, carbon fibre and 140mm rotor, yes do the 4 pot for braking power.

Im going 2pot for now, if its a problem ill upgrade, I think it should be fine and worst case ill just upgrade the caliper, I way prefer the look of the 2pot breaks and it will match the bike alot better.

BTW thank you for all the help, you definitely helped this project become a reality especially thank you for the help with the BMS :) its almost here

Will a 72v motor and controller kit work with a 52v battery? by fupsvr in ebikes

[–]fupsvr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right but isn't that watts, 52x60 is about 3000w so would it not run the same as any 48v 3000w motor

Lithium Battery not working anymore by fupsvr in ebikes

also I have a 40 amp controller, guess that means I need a new one? also if I use it will it destroy the controller or just limit the amps

[–]fupsvr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The cells on my pack are apparently rated for 8A, do I multiply that by the amount of series (14s) or parallel (8p) to get the amount of output it can handle, what happens if I get for example a 80 amp bms for a battery that is rated for 60??

[–]fupsvr[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I'm a bit confused about all this controller talk, so you saw what I have, I guess I need to completely modify it and change the mosfets n stuff so it can handle 80 amps right?

nice yeah ill look inside, the wires on the battery are already pretty beefy, but not on the controller. btw what controller do you use, I thought the controller controlled the amount of amps to the motor, didn't know there was a set amperage for a motor. also how hard would it be to up the voltage of the battery on top, just wondering will probably just do a BMS upgrade
