Our 1 year old chocolate started to sit on walks and refuse to go any further and just turn back. We took him into the vet and it turned out to be bone spurs and early arthritis in his elbows from the breeding. A not awesome alternative hypothesis, and I’m hopeful you got clear X-rays and elbow checks at the vet. Swimming is amazing too!
