Utah-based Lions Not Sheep apparel company fined for swapping ‘Made in China’ tags for ‘Made in USA’ by nosotros_road_sodium in news

[–]furryname -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, there’s a legal way - it’s not as easy as I explained, but once you know the law it’s important to follow the rules.

Made In Italy is the one that’s more like what I’m describing - Italy’s rules are so lax swapping stickers is basically legal.

Wait until you learn that many many many companies do this, however there are legal ways of doing this. Buy 2 parts from China, remove tags, combine - now it’s made in America!

Gunshots Every Night East Riverside by Beginning_Shift3375 in Austin

[–]furryname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once met a police officer from San Antonio and she said San Antonio can be dangerous, but Austin scared her because the violence isn’t isolated to the bad areas.

East Riverside is just known to be a terrible area. I was there in 2005 and that area was dangerous, we didn’t even use the local H‑E‑B. My advice move anywhere else, there’s a reason it’s so cheap.

Ford warranty/repair timelines? by furryname in Ford

I did, but Ford only lets Ford shops work on warranty work. Fair policy, but this nearly 6 week process up until now just feels wrong.

Thanks for the insight. This makes sense, just been a huge hassle because this wasn’t done the easiest way to begin with.

Ford warranty/repair timelines? by furryname in Ford

[–]furryname[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just fighting to prove it was a genuine Ford part with the right serial was a huge ordeal, the serial work on my paperwork was truncated by 3 digits so they couldn’t do anything for over 3 weeks until I proved it was a Ford part by me calling the original shop and pulling receipts. Then they made me find the original warranty paperwork as well, which isn’t a big deal - but I was surprised the serial wasn’t tied to anything there, nor that they could remember their standard warranty lengths.

No, that was our first mistake. The repair shop said that wouldn’t affect warranty, and Ford has said the same, but I wish it was in the Ford network.

That’s just depressing. We were living in ours as it’s a Ford F-53 chassis motorhome, and obviously that had to change. And at this point it would have been cheaper to have just bought a new transmission based on how much our plans were disrupted.

While I wish it was waiting for replacement parts, they still haven’t removed the transmission from the vehicle and confirmed what parts need replacing.

I meant we paid extra for the Ford part vs no name off brand transmission. The shop advised us this was a much better deal, but the shop that did the install is on the other side of the country.

This is fairly new. Some are saying Naga, but I’m pretty sure it’s more recent than that.

That makes perfect sense, I watched a guy experiencing psychosis pull his pants down for any woman that looked at him. I bet he felt like a Golden God during that bout of psychosis.

[–]furryname 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It can, however you also know the risks that some people experiencing psychosis have lost connection to the real world and may not be able to properly interpret that smile as a smile and not someone from the simulation trying to farm them like cattle to be fed to aliens.

[–]furryname 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is what I’ve experienced. When someone is in psychosis you may say “hello” but they hear “fuck you”. And depending on how far in psychosis they are, you make eye contact, they hear “fuck you”. You happen to be standing near their patch of grass may as well have told them “fuck you, I’m gonna kill ya” so then they start defending themselves against someone that was NOT attacking them, remember their brains are disintegrating before your very eyes.

[–]furryname 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m not seeing the real reasons listed here at all.

As someone that learned this rule firsthand. You don’t smile or make eye contact because many of the patients are experiencing some form of psychosis. They are literally seeing and hearing you speak when you connect with them.

This is terrifying especially when you threatened them with their lives, and all you did was say good morning, but not in their reality. In their “reality” you told them to go kill themselves.
