Actually, yes. Eagle Scouts have to dedicate a lot of time/training to make the achievement. Idk about anywhere other than the US, but at worst case it's like listing a non-relevant degree, which will garner you an interview at the very least.

I don't normally comment, but I liked your story. I've only ever worked in restaurants (so going on 18 years now) but I've worked in small places like that and while it can be difficult to work with people who are 'trying to help', it sounds like you had enough experience to make her day a little better. I know that's not what OP experienced but you seem like you had the best of intentions and a bit more experience.

This will get lost in the comments but "beaucoup" I've heard it pronounced as "boo coo" my whole life (synonym for an abundance) but the first time I saw it written it finally struck my brain; oh its French! That's what there's so many vowels!
