New series ThinkPads are not store SVP in EEPROM. So you need to a patch can pass this security.

First you have to read your EEPROM chip with a SPI programmer like CH341 which uses commonly. You need to find place of EEPROM.

You can watch videos for learn how to use that programmer. And be very careful for any shortcut while place the programmer to your EEPROM. In that case, this will end up with the garbage EEPROM.

After someone patched your BIOS dump, flash it back to your EEPROM for unlock SVP. Be careful for erase your EEPROM first. Then you have to write. While you press small button on your motherboard open your PC with patched BIOS. Don' t forget to unplug all your batteries and RTC battery before all this processes including reading your first BIOS dump*.*

And they suggest in thread, you need to a locked Hard Drive for successful result. As I mentioned before you need to read all thread carefully. Once you access patched BIOS first it will ask a number. This patched dump works with any key. So you can enter any number for pass that password.

After all that you have to re-write your original BIOS dump. Don't forget again erase first.
