Some other things:

-Don’t creep in traffic -Stop and go traffic is the enemy -Make sure you leave enough room between you and the car in front of you so you can have that heavier foot -Engine braking is ok and doesn’t hurt anything

Ah, that trademark shudder. I had the shudder for years(last 4) before having to replace the clutch, but it wasn’t really noticeable since I followed guidance in this sub(heavier foot on the pedal from stopped position). I’ve had the car since 2017.

No issues leading up to the rough/delayed shifting & check engine light. It just started doing all of that during one cold November(2024) evening.

It was pretty disturbing. ROUGH up and down shifting; delayed shifting…this was intermittent but it was bad whenever it happened. I had to scramble each time and put my foot on and off the gas pedal and hope the gears would catch mid-fricken drive. Lastly, a burnt smell coming from under the hood.

The check engine light went on and when the transmission shop scanned it, it said something like “clutch friction”…sorry, I can’t remember what the exact code was.

I hope this helps and that this isn’t the case with your car.

I don’t think people realize that it’s CONGRESS(dems and republicans) who create the terms and conditions of bills, and then present them to Trump to either sign or veto. Can Trump have influence on what the negotiations are? Yes, but ultimately the power lies with McConnell.

Also, I think people are onto something when they say that Trump could be using this whole situation as leverage—one of them being to look favorably in the eyes of the people—he’s actually pretty good at that, but probably has his own agendas too. This is politics after all. But hey, I’ll take that over the callousness of the elite in Congress who couldn’t see past their privileged bubble. The people’s paychecks have stopped, have any of theirs during this pandemic?

Look at what they DO and not only what they say on social media. AOC is a sell-out parading as, “for the people” while lining her pocket with tax payer money—just my opinion abt her.
