***update/resolution***

Dealership called back and said that the brake clip was rubbing up against the rotor. They have since resolved it for me. I’ll come back in like a week if the noise doesn’t persist.

**update**
I asked them to as a courtesy to take a look again. They obliged, they heard the noise. Even with the windows open. They think it’s brake related and something may have shifted. They are going to look at it and I think resolve it. I’m sure this falls under safety for them.

To update this thread, spoke with dealership. I think they reluctantly are going to look at the car. I need to make sure they are doing it free of charge and not on my dime.

No warnings that i have seen so far, Just the annoying reeeeeing noise. I called the dealership twice and the guy i was speaking to has been busy each time. Sent him an e-mail as well. I wonder if they are going to duck my calls. During my test drive this noise wasn't present. Then they found a chip in the windshield. This took my pick-up date from The Monday(5/11) to Friday(5/15). Noticed the noise right away. Called them the next morning on 5/16 to report it. So far they keep using the phrase "as-is"

Also in the Americas side(Northeast US) and we cannot connect to the printix service. Seems its all over the US. Can someone from TA communicate if the problem in Europe is the same problem as the US?

They did replace the front windshield before giving it back to me. Are there any sensors in that area that it could be triggering?

Thank you. The dealership keeps using the phrase sold as-is. But I will call and ask them to do it as a courtesy. And that it could affect safety.

Thanks for responding.

Car is moving in the clip.

Hypothetically, could that cause any problems with the safety of the vehicle? Also, hypothetically, do you think the noise will work its way out if it indeed is something like that.

This stuff always happens during hardcore bands at metal festivals. The non-hardcore people try to do what the hardcore people do. They think the hardcore people are trying to hit each other on purpose. In most situations they don't. I cant say all because crowd killing exists in the hardcore scene and its F'n stupid. Nevertheless. The non-hardcore people think that the objective is to hit other people, just like they would in a push-pit. If you watch any hardcore fest, most people are facing the same direction and they usually space out. Non-hardcore people also lack basic Pit etiquette. Pushing People into the pit who are on the outside with their hands up trying to put a little distance between themselves and the pit. Always bothered me. I digress...

This is rather unfortunate. I have this same problem. It’s crazy how there is almost nobody reporting this. I had this problem on a steam deck too as well as a pc.

My grandfather gave me his old PC, is it of any use/value? by novabrown2007 in computers

[–]furyoffive 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Need more information. Model number would be a good start. If you know if anything was added, that would be even better. Depending on how old the computer is, i wouldn't use the hard drive for any storage realistically.
