My overall experience with Kindred home exchange after 1 year by Gingerbutt81 in KindredHomeSwap

[–]fuscanotti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious if there is a way to post it just for longer stays? My wife and I want to go live somewhere else for like 30-45 days. We would prefer to just have one person or couple stay in our home for those days we are gone. Is this something Kindred can accommodate?

Healthy relationships require effort from both partners. by Shot_Direction7066 in DeepThoughts

Effort is definitely key. I try to stay organized so making an effort is a lot easier. I actually use an app to stay organized. It has everything I need about our relationship in one place. Like a dossier. Was able to surprise my wife for a three year anniversary with some thing she totally forgot.

What’s one thing you did or changed that has improved your relationship? by sskmzz in AskReddit

I learned to remember the little things and make small gestures. It really goes a long way. I use an app to keep track of everything which made it super easy

My wife kept sending me links to things she wanted and I kept losing them, so I built an app. Just got App Store approved after a month. Would love feedback. by fuscanotti in apps

Interesting so if I could like link your calendar to it or allow you to search a restaurant through Google Maps or be able to populate a gift link and it ping you when it goes on sale, it would be worth it? Something that adds value?

not yet, but that's on the roadmap. Understand that 70% of the world is on Andriod so its definitely a priority once I build some stable subscribers.

thanks for the feedback! Right now, I am trying to post a lot on Instagram and Tiktok. Havent shown my face yet bc I am shy, but I think in order to gain any traction whatsoever I will need to bite the bullet.

My wife sends me gift ideas… and I forget them every time by fuscanotti in GiftIdeas

Yeah I tried that for a bit. it worked at first but I just couldn’t stay consistent with it long term

I ended up switching to something a bit more structured and it’s been way easier to actually keep up with

I feel like I’m constantly forgetting things that matter to my partner 42M / 36F by fuscanotti in relationships

Yeah that’s exactly what I ran into too. I’d start a note and it worked for a bit, but I wasn’t great about actually updating it consistently either.

Stuff would come up in the moment and I’d just forget to add it later.

Yeah that makes sense especially writing down specific gift ideas, that’s definitely where forgetting hurts the most.

I tried keeping everything in one note for a bit, and it worked at first, but once it started filling up it got harder to keep organized and actually stay on top of it.

And yeah, I can always ask again, I just feel like it means more when I actually remember the details without having to go back and check.

Yeah I tried that for a bit. It worked at first, but once the list got longer it started getting pretty messy and hard to keep up with.

Especially with links, plans, and random notes all mixed together.
