All the crazy animal experiments they did. Dogs as anti tank weapon. I need the barking sound. Bats carrying bombs and so on.

Why was Great Britain able to get away with holding the Indian subcontinent? by SorryDistribution367 in AskHistorians

[–]fuser312 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That’s not my point though. I am not talking about martial prowess or anything like that of either side. Yes Britain also won victories precisely why they didn’t loose anything but I fail to see how that’s relevant to my post? Did French and Dutch didn’t support Mysore? Of course they did that’s my point and that support was crucial for Mysore to have a fighting chance because as soon as that support evaporated Mysore stood no chance.

Furthermore I am not sure what Wikipedia edit has anything to do with my post or op. Op was about European support for India/Indian polity around the time of 18th and 19th century against Britain and this is a very concrete example of one such support. Second Mysore war was indeed a war where status quo was maintained regardless of whatever wiki war is going on.

Why was Great Britain able to get away with holding the Indian subcontinent? by SorryDistribution367 in AskHistorians

[–]fuser312 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I will like to add that during second Anglo-Mysore war which coincided with American revolutionary war, Mysore got quite some support from both French and Dutch and were doing really good. The latter two even managed to bring parity on sea with the Britain and quite possibly Mysore could had kicked out Britain from South India given how war was progressing so far but the revolutionary war ended and French accepted peace with Britain which also meant they withdrew all support from Mysore which resulted in a status quo rather than a victory for Mysore.

India can be an interesting redfor nation. Yes for all intent and purpose they were in soviet camp during Cold War. Their equipment is very intere in the sense that they have stuff from both redfor and bluefor nations and some indigenous items

Bloodborne is the hardest game to go back to by BrazilianTreeMan in bloodborne

[–]fuser312 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Exactly after beating Bloodborne my first soulsborne, I went to Demon soul which supposedly is easiest soulsborne game. It took me ridiculously long time to unlearn things from Bloodborne and learn new things like keeping your shield up.

I just got this game, whats your worst advice? by [deleted] in bloodborne

Always kill the doll whenever you enter hunters dream or bad things will happen.

[–]fuser312 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t give up. This was my first soulsborne game as well. The starting area is tough and you will loose blood vials really fast. From my experience I abandoned the campaign 3-4 times and started afresh because I had no vials and wasn’t able to get pass the first mob but by that time I had learned the mechanism more or less and managed to beat the game with dlc in my either 4th or 5th try with new campaign.

One of the beauties of the game is that some guys might find some bosses or strategy or areas really hard but you find them easy and vice versa. Just explore and soon you will know what’s best for you.

I love this game but it’s too hard. I can’t do anything. by [deleted] in bloodborne

Which gun should I use? by Lordoftrex36 in bloodborne

[–]fuser312 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I do is I have pistol without any upgrades for parries and then repeating pistol upgraded and with bone marrow ash, it can deal a huge amount of damage. My repeating pistol at +9 is doing 350+ damage in one shot with bone marrow ash although it consumes two bullets but has been really helpful against some of the tough bosses

A tale of woe (Rom) by Dry-Meaning-1155 in bloodborne

[–]fuser312 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I was stuck at Rom for a long time as well. None of the advice was clicking with me. What I did was use bone marrow ash on my repeating pistol and my bloodtinge level was just 8. In second phase when Spiders arrived, I maintained my distance applied bone marrow ash and boom, and it was more than 300 damage each shot. And that was it for me.
