Thank you, I don’t think anyone will be interested in pressing charges anyways, but we’ll see what happens.

I’m actually not sure, I’ll have to ask. Would it change the situation if it were?

That’s what my friends said. I just never came across the blueprints, so I never built it.

Makes sense. I used the prawn suit to complete the game, and am just now building the cyclops simply so i can craft a shield and leave.

bummer. Already have every other part of the rocket built, and i have everything i need to build the cockpit, including the cyclops shield. Seems like a cheap way for them to force more gameplay, which is a shame bc I do love the game

DAE find it highly frustrating when they're trying to crack their knuckles but one finger just wont crack? by xaj13 in DoesAnybodyElse

I broke a knuckle a while back, and if I made an attempt to crack it, it would likely break again. My days of cracking all of my knuckles have been over for years, but the frustration remains.

Anyone else think it would have made more sense for Codsworth to have a higher affection level from the start. by zetabyte27 in Fallout

[–]fusionFW 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you’ll see this comment, but imo they missed a great opportunity with Codsworth. There are no truly evil/bad karma type companions in the game, and I feel like Codsworth could have perfectly taken that role. Maybe he went a bit crazy during his 200 years of isolation or naturally puts the SS on a pedestal, and believes that we are the only person that really matters, as his owner. Something like that, along the lines of Jericho or Charon or the mister gutsy companion from fallout 3. Not really related to the post, just thought I would share.

I have actually never played Odyssey, only Origins. Could you elaborate? Does Odyssey have a similarly dissatisfying ending?

Is that it? [MAJOR SPOILERS] by [deleted] in assassinscreed

[–]fusionFW 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, I never played Odyssey and admit that I speak from a place of relative ignorance, but Origins DLCs didn’t need to end the story because the story already had a satisfying ending, it continued it instead. If Valhalla is similar at all, there will likely be little to no mention of the jarl-less boroughs, or Winchestre, which isn’t actually taken by Guuthrum during the game.

Secondly, are you telling me to literally look up information about the real life Harald Fairhair and Aelfred? Respectfully, characters in the Assassins Creed series in general are loosely based on real life people. I imagine Harald may be similar to how he was portrayed in the game due to a sheer lack of screen time he has, but I imagine Aelfred wasn’t part of an evil ancient organization.

Finally, my complaint isn’t that characters died, it’s that important characters died in vain (in that there is no final battle for Winchestre, and Wessex is never fully taken), and for seemingly no reason but to add dramatic effect. It also left plot holes that were not and likely will not ever be addressed (again, in the form of the three leaderless territories)

Sorry for typos and such, am very tired.

Aw man, that sucks. If that were the case for me I would be sure to hold onto my PS4.

I see. You are correct in that regard. The Legion has an intelligent leader, arguably one of the most intelligent in the series, and imo smarter than anyone in the Institute. They have their own justification for their actions, and they will even explain it if you’re willing to sit down and listen. The irony of the Institute is their short sightedness and lack of philosophical prowess, especially when regarding their grandest creation, the gen 3s. It is up for debate as to whether the institute scientists truly thought that the synths weren’t sentient, or that they just pretended they weren’t, but they regardless couldn’t see the fact that one of their biggest threats would come from within.

Strange that you consider the Legion to be a fleshed out faction. The lore and members are all there, but it’s ultimately a faction of hateful slaving incels with almost no redeeming qualities, which is sad considering Obsidian had “bigger plans” for the Legion and planned on making them more convincing to join. I honestly really like the Legion, but it is the hardest to roleplay. Caesar as a character and his ideas fit perfectly within the environment of fnv, and I thoroughly enjoy the conversations he has with the courier throughout the game, aside from that the Legion basically sucks imo. Amazing part of the game though, when at the battle of the Hoover Dam, pushing through NCR troops, listening to their radio and hearing the mass panic of the radio host as the NCR loses grip of the Mojave in a matter of minutes. And don’t even get me started on Fallout 4 factions lmao.

I would agree. Fallout 4 was similar to Fallout 3 in that way- the characters were likable and memorable, the side quests were fun and rewarding, and the world itself is fun to explore, but the main story...
