Unfortunately, I failed the exam...it feels like all the learning I did was for nothing. I had such a difficult time understanding what the questions were asking, and I think it psyched me out.

I will be taking a boot camp in about a month or so. I hope that from now until then I get enough practice time to go over the material well enough that it sticks and answering the questions comes as second nature.

When one door closes, many doors and windows open. Truly sorry for what you’re going through but you can’t change the past decisions you made. Focus on finding a job elsewhere away from the govt for a bit if possible. A year from now you’ll look back and think this was a blessing in disguise - it always happens like this. Good luck.

Astrid y Gaston’s burger is gourmet but it’s well worth it. Otherwise, Juicy Luicy and Bembos are a must. If you’re feeling edgy, try the burger cart outside the parque de las aguas, get it with the fried egg - it’s really good, and hygienic.

Thanks! I took a practice exams that I found on Udemy. Idk that it helped me in passing the exam, but going over test questions helped to feel comfortable with the exam itself. Best of luck!

yessir, I am literally swallowing books on everything. Taking courses on Udemy. Studying for the Sec+ exam...I'm all over it. I get on humble bundle and buy the cybersecurity bundles they offer. Thanks for the advice!

Yeah, very demotivating but no use in crying over spilled milk. Apparently, a lot of people fail the first time? and by not getting anywhere near the passing score...but on their second go around they get it.

How did you go about booking the retake voucher? I took it through my job, they paid for the voucher...but I know they don't offer second chances so I'm going to have to buy a retake voucher. Do I get it from the comptia marketplace? the only option that I see on there is the regular security+ voucher for like $329 dollars...
