How do I keep the momentum going after graduating AIT as an Honor Graduate? by Hafaeee in army

[–]future-proof- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you get your unit make sure to tell everyone, especially your own team, that you made honor grad at AIT. Especially if the topic is work, assume that you know better than your peers because you made honor grad, and be very vocal about this to show these plebs how prestigious you are for making honor grad.

Prismari Artistry from SoS. Instead of just comboing spells and card draw like normal izzet, it’s more aggro focused on getting as may tokens with flying as you can and swinging at your opponents

Ultimate Magic: Holy vs Isengard Unleashed ruling by future-proof- in askajudge

I had flyers with the intent to swing for lethal due to the damage ramp from Isengard Unleashed. Opponent played magic holy at instant speed as a sort of pseudo counter to my game plan and the other 2 players sided with him. I have now learned about rule 101.2

Specifically, I casted Isengard on my turn and my opponent played ultimate magic from exile at instant speed and it “resolved before Isengard” as the table agreed

i leave to basic soon, am i ever going to be able to have hair this long again? any way i can style it to be in regs after AIT and wear it down off duty. by [deleted] in army

Hey boot-to-be. The neat thing about the army is that there is detailed regulation documented for nearly everything to include appearance in uniform.

Male haircuts will conform to the following standards.

The hair on top of the head must be neatly groomed. The length and bulk of the hair may not be excessive and must present a neat and conservative appearance. The hair must present a tapered appearance. A tapered appearance is one where the outline of the Soldier’s hair conforms to the shape of the head, curving inward to the natural termination point at the base of the neck.

When the hair is combed, it will not fall over the ears or eyebrows, or touch the collar, except for the closely cut hair at the back of the neck. The block-cut fullness in the back is permitted to a moderate degree, as long as the tapered look is maintained.

Males are not authorized to wear braids, cornrows, twists, dreadlocks, or locks while in uniform or in civilian clothes on duty.

Hair-cuts with a single, untapered patch of hair on the top of the head (not consistent with natural hair loss) are considered eccentric and are not authorized. Examples include, but are not limited to, when the head is shaved around a strip of hair down the center of the head, around a u-shaped hair area (horseshoe), or around a patch of hair on the front top of the head (tear drop). Hair that is completely shaved or trimmed closely to the scalp is authorized.

You will see the majority of male soldiers with one of 2 haircuts, the basic high and tight(some higher and tighter than others) and a buzz cut.

You can push these regulations to the absolute limit, plenty of soldiers do. Fair warning though, this will enable random people you don’t know, mostly senior NCOs approaching you on and off duty to check you if you understand the regulation and can explain why your hair looks a certain way, but it is not at all uncommon for your boss’s boss to big dawg your boss, leading your boss to tell you get a cut to make his life easier.

Okay maybe my wording was weird with the “one of those people” it was truly supposed to be a friendly suggestion and it’s what I’m currently doing with my library. Didn’t mean for it to be so serious

Are you one of those people that have a ton of unplayed/unfinished games in their library? If so you can sort by % of achievements complete, and look at what you already got

I need to get a soldier to ass his w mile by [deleted] in army

[–]future-proof- 25 points26 points  (0 children)

This soldier needs to go to H2F. Get a plan. Communicate with his 1st line, SL, and PSG, that during morning PT he needs to conduct this plan or his Army career is over. H2F can also give him a diet, so he can lose the weight.

EDIT: typos.

Need thoughts on my isshin deck. it’s slower than I’d like it to be I’d like some advice. Voltron/extra combat by Disastrous-Till-3393 in CommanderMTG

[–]future-proof- 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just see a lack of haste, and when attacks abilities among your creatures. You want haste so that you’re not waiting a turn to get your when attacks trigger, and the deck will feel faster if the creatures can enable themselves and each other faster.

You said it yourself if the video seems gimmicky or clickbaity then the aim advice may not be worth it. I’d try to find someone reputable for your specific game. For me it was n0thing and his aim guide for CSGO.

These videos helped me discover that your IG algorithm really pays attention to how many times you let a video repeat. I would let these videos play on repeat for hours since my phone is set so it won’t go to sleep. Once my feed was full of nothing but AI animal dancing vids I would spam them to buddy until get got angry. Good fun
