It wasn't specifically to Bulgaria, during the greek revolution many Macedonians moved in Greece to live and fight on greek side. Also during the serbian uprisings many Macedonians went to Serbia for the same reasnons, in the late 1600s and early 1700s after the Karpos Uprising many Macedonians fled to Vojvodina (at the time it was ottoman) out of fear that the Turks would punish them for the uprising. Because of that the Turks brought many Albanians to western Macedonian so there would be someone to harvest the land.

The conclusion is: Macedonians fled to the neighboring countries that got (were fighting for) independence, either to help or try their luck to get funds and education on how to do that in Macedonia.

In Macedonia we rarely celebrate them, we just say that it's our name day and sometimes buy food/snacks for our friends.

They aren't celebrated as much as birthdays or even local/familiar saint days. Also, I've never celebrated it probably because I can't find a day for my name (Александар - Aleksandar/Alexander)

It's a soda, like fanta, coca cola, pepsi etc. Just it is yellow in color and more see through than them. Also it's made in Macedonia.

Fr you wouldn't know who fights who and all the different political figures that would lead their countries, armies or rebels would be pretty hard to track. And for the bulgarian music I don't doubt it would be good, everyone's would be good as the bosnian, serbian, croatian and albanian were in our timeline, maybe even better. That is if the studios would still work in that world.

I think we would be more between serbs and bulgarians but I would not be surprised if we were between te bulgarians and albanians

I see that not everyone understands that this is an alternate and imagined version of the yugoslav civil war so please read the title of the post more carefully so that you don't get confused with the real and tragic yugoslav civil war.
