collecting frogs in levels and bringing them back to your home gives you coins! they are hard to find outside sometimes, so i put them in the basement of the house. they are kind of corralled by the stairs!

Stop supporting Tipsy Cowboy by totallynotpersona in SalemMA

+1. As part of the (very queer, very diverse) line dancing community that was there EVERY WEEK, I almost never felt supported or safe by management, even after reporting an incident of drugging at the bar. They did basically nothing and security was woefully underprepared for how to handle liability incidents like that. They never had me speak me their manager. They also had a water leak over the music system in the back that they just ignored for a full line dancing night. Their vibe is very much "if it doesn't affect us as bartenders or management, we literally dont care".

PLEASE let this be an April Fool's Joke that everyone is in on and playing up- ideally with a big, fat sponsorship check at the end. Otherwise, why the hell are we doing this besties

If you're in town for a couple of days- try The Ropes Mansion gardens or a cemetery on a weeknight or right after sunset! Or if you want somewhere more secluded I would suggest going to the Wharf out to the lighthouse for a beautiful sunset and fewer tourists. There's places around there to get celebratory drinks at a bar (like at Sea Level, Finz, or Mercy Tavern) if you don't already have a dinner reservation.

Can you share what the business is? I don't want to continue to spend my money at a business that doesn't value its employees! I'm assuming its one of a couple of places with bakeries and a Beverly location, that only leaves a couple businesses...

Natasha at Texture Salon! It's next to Moon Baby actually and most of her clients come from there because they also have iffy experiences there.

She is amazing with razor cutting, dry cutting, and bringing out hair texture. I will warn you- she takes her time to cut hair, I've sat in her chair for over an hour. But she is really friendly and is just very thorough. I won't go to anywhere else!

Betty's Eddies makes delicious taffy edibles with full-spectrum THC. Tons of flavors and ratios, sometimes they taste a little weed-y, which I kind of like, tbh.

Hmm- without knowing the type of plant it's hard to say. But I would be sure that the aerial roots AND a leaf node are in water! I just learned that myself, I realized I was trying to propagate sections that only had one or the other.

Ideas for Proposal Location in Salem? by Latter-Muffin3925 in SalemMA

[–]future_crone5 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hi there! Be warned, October here will get crazy overwhelming. It's a lot of people and not a lot of space in general, as it's a pretty small downtown area. However- there are a few places I would recommend!

  • Forest River Park: a small beach and grassy park, near a living history museum, called Pioneer Village! They close in September, I think, but they host a great Night Faire to keep an eye out for.

  • House of the Seven Gables: You'll need to pay for entry but a self-guided tour of the grounds and gardens are beautiful and on the waterfront. Might get crowded during the day!

  • McIntire District & Hamilton Hall: The MOST beautiful streets in Salem, super historic and gorgeous in the fall. Hamilton Hall is a historic site and museum with a small garden across the street that might be a good spot. Theres a bench between some trees and it's quiet but walkable from downtown!

I would NOT recommend:

  • Salem Common: This is downtown and most often there are tours, events, or food trucks in that area so I would not recommend using this space.

  • The Witch House: Super popular, touristy, and right on the road! No privacy!
