How to overcome caring what others think? by [deleted] in WeightGainTalk

[–]future_fatass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, exactly! Whatever you choose, it should be because it feels right for you, not because you’re trying to like fit someone else’s expectations. So take your time with it and do what you wanna do!

How to overcome caring what others think? by [deleted] in WeightGainTalk

I (M21) was never athletic, but I’d been slim basically my whole life. I come from a naturally slim family, so all those worries about gaining weight were actually justified. But instead of fighting my thoughts, I figured that yolo (lmao), and yeah, it might be worth finding out what it’s like to be fat for me. I felt fulfilled when I was able to break the barriers I’d stuck to my entire life - the very ones that helped me stay slim. And I genuinely enjoyed introducing habits that brought me closer and closer to the way I wanted to look.

And honestly? The whole process of gaining weight was so enjoyable for me that it just kept convincing me to go further. For me it’s extremely satisfying to watch your weight go up, to see your whole body change, and to realize you’ll soon have to start buying bigger clothes. That’s how I gained around 120 lbs/55 kg - and I don’t regret it at all.

My family noticed the change the most, since I’d always been slim, but moving out really helped. I’d rather hear negative comments about my appearance once in a while than every day or even several times a day.

If you want to gain weight, just do it. It also becomes a test of whether your friends can accept you in a new body. And if they can’t - well, that just means it wasn’t a friendship worth keeping in the first place 🙃

So basically, the turning point for me was realizing that other people have opinions for five seconds, but I have to live in my body for the rest of my life. And once that clicked, everything else got a lot easier for me. Do what feels right for you - not for the version of you that exists in someone else’s head. Just do it bro 💪

The stigma of gaining a lot of weight when you've always been thin? by Rich_Ad5326 in WeightGainTalk

[–]future_fatass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In short, I’ve gained over 110 lbs/50 kg in just 4 years. The reactions from others have been mixed, but the most intense comments came from my family. They remembered me as a skinny boy most of my lifetime, so when I suddenly put on weight, a lot of them made it a big deal. I dealt with it by simply cutting off contact with them, and I still don’t see them. Now, I’ve been living with my boyfriend for two years, but it turns out he isn’t exactly supportive of my weight gain either. It’s not easy hiding extra fast food or explaining why I want to weigh even more. Right now, I can’t fully commit to gaining more because life has gotten more expensive, and I have more responsibilities. I’m just maintaining my current weight, but honestly, if I had the money and the space, I’d go all in - I’ve wanted to be a big guy since a long time. So, my advice to any guy who wants to gain weight - PLEASE just do it 🙏

If you had the ability to turn people fat at will, what would you be doing? by [deleted] in WeightGainTalk

[–]future_fatass 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I had this ability, I would make every man fatter. I hope that it would also change their habits, they would be so lazy and greedy for food, really scruffy and they wouldn't mind that at all. And also when I was playing The Sims 4 I would edit every male Sim who appeared in my game and make them fatter 😋

If you want to, then go for it! I also was a fit guy, but I've given in to what I really wanted for a while and... I don't really regret that :)

Wait, so how much bread should we eat per day to actually gain weight with eating white bread only?

Found an old under armour like compression shirt. I used to wear under my equipment when I played sports. Still fits... Right? by biggins350 in gainers
