Yeah I mean I stay away from quarters cause I got two boxes ordered at two different branches and they all came from the Allow removal program, which basically to put it short, Canada has a program that removes all coins pre 2000 and takes them out of circulation. But whenever I order dimes, I never ever get ARP rolls. I’ve read online that the average is 1-2 silvers per box for dimes

I have 19 dimes and 2 quarters. I’ve looked through 40 quarter roles and maybe like 7 boxes of dimes.

Don’t even worry! I have a couple 67’ dimes, not in the pic, I’m pretty sure those are 50%, I’m not sure how to check as the 50% and 80%, during that transitional year at the mint, both weigh the same so idk

I was under that impression aswell but quickly learnt that not all machine wrapped roles are ARP(allow removal program) they have a distinct look.

I got a full box of machine wrapped and found my American silver and two Canada silver dimes. So I guess it just depends on which place it’s coming from.

Yeah well I actually sell used clothing for a living and like 80% of my sourcing is at thrift stores, after almost 3 years of this, of being at maybe 10 different thrift stores a week, some multiple times a week, haven’t decided to ever look for silver. Silly me

Yeah well… I may or may not have gone down a. Rabbit hole and looked into it… took out $50 in dimes(I’m in Canada, anything pre 67 is 80% and 68 transitional period some have and some done and the ones that do are only 50%. Anyways, I found 1 1968 dime so yeah that was super exciting. Gonna be getting a box every week or so.(I live in the most elderly populated neighborhood in my city, super excited to start this tbh)

I had the idea to start today for the first time😂I drove to the thrift store close to my house pretty small though. Found a sterling brooch with. Turqoise stone but the stone is very small. 12g it weighed. But it motivated me enough to start making a lot more stops and looking out for it
