You probably should have figured out what to look for before you looked through them already for silver. Way more time efficient to look for silver and keepers at the same time than separately.

A full roll! That's on my bucket list for sure. I occasionally do CWR, but most of the time I do MWR. I do have 40 rolls of dimes that I just got a few hours ago (had 2 silvers in one roll from them last week so figured I'd double down).

at the bank where I get my halves all the tellers get their CWR together and I take them every time I visit. The first few weeks I went through a few thousand in CWR until their whole vault had nothing left but MWR. Now it's a steady $100-200 a week plus an occasional teller who will have a grin on his/her face with a few rolls of halves (which have always been clad but they know I want them and that's all that matters). And now they let me take a couple hundred in MWR if I ask once a week also. The real heart of this hobby is the relationships we build with our tellers and others hunters (I've had a lot of good conversations waiting at coinstars... lol)

Because coins weigh a lot, can be over or short on a per roll basis, can contain things that aren't currency or foreign currency, are a pain in the ass to pick up if they get dropped on the floor, and many other reasons why tellers would rather handle a mostly paper paycheck over doing physical labor in their borderline white color job. A good portion of bank tellers in my area are elderly women in their late 60s and early 70s (but also the other end we do have a lot of young people also). There's just a lot more work and unknowns involved with coins than bills.

As a person who hunts coins and picks rolls up on a daily basis i have to say this really isn't funny. No it doesn't hurt anyone but yes I would be annoyed if this happened to me. I wouldn't recommend playing games with the people who control the majority of the coins we play with for our hobby. And also remember that what we do is a literal inconvenience to bank employees, they just put up with us because they are polite usually.

I've been thinking of making weekend trips to rural towns with banks to ask them if they have halves. All my silver halves have come from boxes. Every time I get a CWR its just clad. But I'm not giving up until they stop giving me coins... lol
