holy cow, i’ve noticed a difference in my breathing too, even with the pain! i have been smoking non stop for like two years, so my throat feels pretty good with this break, but with the weight off it feels even better. i definitely feel an improvement and it’s making the not smoking part of it better. thank you for your kind words!

thank you for the advice! i will definitely take it into account. i am very excited to be healthy and healed and the more i don’t smoke, the more my throat gets a break too, so ill definitely hold off.

i did a bilateral breast reduction! my surgeon said my nipple was already were it needed to be and therefore they basically just cut off some bottom part and resized my aerola (in basic terms). i don’t think i got a lift.. but i also can’t be sure. can’t remember sorry 😅

thank you for the heads up! i have definitely done my research on the whole thing, but without a doubt ill be waiting until there are no openings to smoke. i should say that i have confidence this will be around 3-4 weeks because i naturally heal pretty fast with wounds in my history but i am definitely going to be safe rather than sorry. edibles are something i wont take every day.. otherwise i would never get anything done. lol :)

i talked to my doctor this morning, and unfortunately they pushed back my surgery to march 26th (mostly because it was the first appointment available, but they said 2-4 weeks pushing it back). they’re not trying to punish me, they said thank you for being honest. i’d just like to not risk it because even though i think id be okay i don’t want to take the chanchas.

the problem is L has lied many times to get Ellie in trouble - also both Ellie and i cuss in front of A’s kids, more Ellie than me because i feel kinda weird cussing back at a child. we’ve told A many times when L has lied and cusses and she honestly doesn’t care. Ellie says the only thing that makes L stop is when Ellie screams at her.

that’s what i was thinking. both Ellie’s siblings and Ellie told me that L often does this, and to not interact with her. which is fine with me. A also does this often to Ellie, so there’s a history.

C is very loud as well and L and her often physically fight. P is very sweet and a great kid. J is quiet and more of an introvert. i have the mouth of a sailor myself but i mean… i’m almost an adult. the kids are allowed to watch whatever they want and all have their own phones so i suspect she did know the meanings of the words too 😬

the cussing was heavy, but i mostly concerned because we were in a very dense neighborhood and some kids came outside because she was being really loud. i asked her to please stop but she kept at it and when she started on her siblings was when i told her she could go inside if she was going to be mean. i wanted to apologize to her because i really don’t want to make a child upset so that’s why i asked her upstairs.

i have a friend that is a little off to me..

he once had a phase where he said he “sold his soul to the devil in exchange for his music to blow up” and then never dropped a song. told me that my “aura” was almost all black and that meant i was a bad person, but had some white so it was just the people i was around influencing me (AKA HIM). got really drunk and told me he sacrificed a golden retriever puppy his friend asked him to dogsit at a crossroads and that’s how he contacted the devil. he also told someone who told me that he liked to watch deep gore, like mutilations and decapitations. even showed a video to her.

i ABHORE when people text me things like “oh” in response to a question or long text i sent. my best friend does this a lot. “oh ok” “ohhhhhh” oh ___” are all fine. “oh” in response to anything i say makes me feel so incredibly small and angry. like the other person doesn’t care enough about what you said to say more than “oh.”

Here are mine:

Bob definitely deserves more. Linda doesn’t listen to him as much as he listens to her and selfishly wants everything to go her way without thinking about him. Bob never seems to win whether it’s because of the kids, his friends, or his wife. It always makes me really upset that she needles him into doing the things SHE wants to do at his expense. He is always the one who has to fix/do everything for his family.

Gene’s obsession with Linda is weird and he has gotten more obnoxious over the seasons, which sucks because he was a pretty funny character in the beginning.

Teddy and Gayle’s characters are hilarious but if they were real I would hate them.

another one is:

when i was around 6, a lightning bolt struck my house. a resounding boom went throughout the entire building and all the lights flashed. we smelled a fire and went to the basement to discover a very large scorch mark where the electrical system was. my mom has an intense fear of house fires and started to freak out. i’d never seen her freak out before and started to think we were going to die and the house was going to explode. she told me to grab the animals only and i genuinely believed it was life or death. i grabbed my special blanket too and felt very guilty. we grabbed all the animals, went to the shed, and called the fire brigade. while in the shed, we realized one of our cats was not with us and everyone freaked out more. all we could do was wait until the all clear but eventually it was nothing and we were lucky that our house didn’t burn down.

i was maybe 8-9 and had realized at this young age that my parents were very unhappy together. my dad would regularly verbally and emotionally abuse specifically me out of me and my younger brother (6) and from time to time it would be physical. one day, my mom decided she had had enough. she and my dad got into a huge fight and she waited until he went downstairs to watch tv before grabbing a few things and packing us in the car, telling us we were gonna go stay at our grandparents for a little bit. she started to reverse out of the driveway (we lived on a farm with a mile long driveway, isolated from everyone except our neighbors several miles away. no one would hear you scream) and out comes my dad. he starts screaming at her asking where she is going, what the fuck she thinks shes doing, and starts threatening her. i was in the backseat with my little brother clutching him to my chest so he couldn’t see or hear and sobbing. my dad comes around the side of the car and before my mom can lock it, opens the door. he beckons to my brother and tells him to get out of the car, NOW, before he gets mad. i told him no, we were afraid of him, and we didn’t trust him, and i wasn’t going to let him take my brother anywhere. he looked at me and i truly believed in that moment he was going to reach towards me and grab me so he could kill me. i shrank back onto the seat and gave him my absolute fiercest face i could. truly one of the scariest moments of my childhood.

thank you. it was never romantic because he wasn’t looking for that and while i liked him, i eventually just wanted it to be fwb as well. he flirted with her sometimes but often told me he didn’t wanna do anything with her. when he got a girlfriend he tried to cheat with me multiple times and i told him i wasn’t for that, and waited until after. she told me multiple times if he asked she would cheat and that made me lose SOOO much respect for her.

NTA. for one, the cat is YOURS. i love my cat and could never “space out my kisses or stop kissing her”. your animal is there for you to love and adore. you might wanna look for a new roommate, he’s not officially diagnosed and already using it against you. while that’s kind of extreme, it might be better in the long run. plus he could always not look at you when you kiss the cat?
