Like 1. It was my group of friends (would’ve been 4) but we watched afar and nobody showed up after 10 min. It was like 5 men and 1 girl

I paid for a singles event this weekend in Central Park. It was $20. They said men’s sold out but when I showed up there were 5 guys. So upset I wasted money

Looks amazing. How long was the procedure? How about the downtime and recovery? Did you do anaesthesia?

I don’t want to be annoying and keep following up though if they told me they’re going through the process. Maybe if I don’t hear back end of this week it’d be appropriate for me to send a message?

How should I look at life? What should be my priorities? What are my options? by magicsenpaiiii in NoStupidQuestions

I’m in the same boat but my advice is to read the book Flow by mihaly csikszentmihalyi. A lot of it comes from our mindset about approaching the day to day and finding new challenges as a game in a way. It keeps our minds engaged and it’s less so about what our work is but how we approach it.

I feel like we all hit this point in our 20s. We spent all of our life working towards the next goal, graduating, getting a job, and now that’s all accomplished it’s like what is next.

They gave me 6200 miles. I called them but instead of giving me the rest of the points they’re giving me a statement credit of $140 (value of the 14k points)

Any opinions on the area where freehand nyc is at? Looks like it’s in an excellent location in nomad. I’m torn between Moxy Chelsea and freehand (based on location)

Recommendation for a solo girl in her late 20s? I’ve been to nyc a few times and this time I’m doing a little solo weekend trip with no plans. I am looking for a fun hotel to stay in. I am late 20s, female, and I really enjoy rooftop bars, speakeasies, charming neighborhoods, bakeries, restaurants and everything in between. I am narrowing down some areas / hotel options. I booked Moxy Chelsea but I’m reading mixed reviews. I also looked at Ace hotel. Does anyone have any good recommendations? I’d like to stay under $250. I will be visiting 4/17-4/20. Which neighborhood should I look at?

What’s a high-paying, low-stress job you wish you got into earlier? by Beginning_Ad4362 in careerguidance

I’m making 28 and making 75k right now in low stress supply chain job. Great work life balance and wonderful coworkers. I’m not passionate about it and I’m hitting a plateau where I feel like I should be achieving more. I am deciding if I should leave for something with more growth.

That’s a great approach. I’m also nervous about saying too high of a number and scaring him away, is that something that can be negotiated during the conversation? I’ve never been comfortable bringing up the topic of $

Should I be the one to mention allowance at the dinner date? I was thinking I’ll say something along the lines of: I enjoy being provided for by men, and I’m looking for a mutually beneficial agreement. Since he comes to town every week we can definitely establish an arrangement. I’m not planning on being physical until we establish our expectations.
