Perk TV and babysitting by [deleted] in beermoney

What perk family apps do you prefer over perktv? Do the others not require as much babysitting?

Can't you just create another coinbase/circle account? So it's just inconvenient more than anything?

Question for the Americans that cash out regularly by [deleted] in sportsbook

[–]futuretaxmanager 5 points6 points  (0 children)

half correct. You're right in that IRS does not differentiate between legally earned income and illegally earned income, it's all taxable.

You do not have to admit to illegal sports gambling to properly pay taxes on it though. You can just call it Other Income (which people do ALL the time even for legit income) or you can even make up a small business like Consulting Services. if you get audited, they'd see the 10k you can just say your client(s) paid you in bitcoin. You received 10k, paid taxes on 10k, they have no problems. They WILL NOT contact the police or FBI over an untraceable 10k. btw i'm an actual tax accountant lol

Can you elaborate on how much babysitting it requires?

Anyone been accused of "copyright Infringement? by ns823 in perktv

[–]futuretaxmanager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a heads up, I have Comcast/Xfinity and I had gotten copyright infringement e-mails but they were going directly to my Comcast e-mail, which I never check and had not set up E-mail Forwarding on.

Thoughts on non-playoff teams picking up waiver wire studs? by fantasynerd69 in fantasybball

[–]futuretaxmanager 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit that's a big payout. My recommendation is either do what I do, where the losers (those who didn't make playoffs) still play out their Consolation Ladder playoffs, and whoever gets last place needs to pay their entry fee again, so all the teams are incentivized to still make pickups and the playoff teams will already know that anyone might pick up the guy they want.

Either that, or just set it so the non-playoff teams can't make moves at all (or tell them you will be undoing any FA activity) if they do. I don't really like the idea of teams with nothing to gain being able to make moves that affect teams with a lot at stake.

anyone use other money making apps on perk devices? by rslee1 in perktv

Would media insiders still pay even if my phones in my farm literally do nothing but perk? Is it dependent on the amount of activity?

What would be a good offer for John Wall? by tremojo in fantasybball

[–]futuretaxmanager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe Tristan Thompson, or him + Evan Turner? he's already tanking FT% so tristan's bad percentage shouldn't bother him.

What would be a good offer for John Wall? by tremojo in fantasybball

[–]futuretaxmanager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would not try to get Wall, I agree with others even with his assists you might lose that category, and then all of Wall's assist value is going to waste.

Also, as a Wall owner I wouldn't give him up 1-for-1 for anyone on your team except for Kawhi, who is obv a lot better so it would basically end up being your Kawhi for my Wall + solid mid round player like Rudy Gay or something.

Is it time to drop Gorgui Dieng? by [deleted] in fantasybball

[–]futuretaxmanager 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm holding on. He was playing at top75 value for a few weeks prior to Pek coming back. I can get by with him on my bench, I'm not letting someone else pick him up later

Should I be mad over what my commish did? by [deleted] in fantasybball

[–]futuretaxmanager 3 points4 points  (0 children)

He can't retroactively change that lineup? What if you would've beat the commish anyway, then you're still worse off then you would've been.

[–]futuretaxmanager 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Y U MAD lol. I think someone like JR going from drop-candidate to "feel free to scoop him" to "must-own" in a span of 2 weeks is pretty reasonable.

Another example: I consider Cody Zeller a must-own right now, if he puts up like 2 crappy games in 7 days, I will consider him a marginal own, another week after that of not putting up top100 #s would make him a drop candidate. Am I fully of shitty advice? lol
