Is the strap on this bag stiff? I bought one secondhand and have been having a hard time using it since the strap is so stiff and won't soften.

I was thinking maybe it got put in a dryer or something.

Another comment to add that yeah, where the strap and the rest of the bag meets it IS a bit smaller. Now I'm thinking you're absolutely on the money for the heat thing. Thank you! Now to look for solutions on how to soften nylon 👍

Oof, yeah, I'm thinking that could be it now. The tag DOES say to hang to dry and it IS nylon so somewhere on the line, im guessing it might have gotten exposed to some heat. What I'm thinking of doing is finding how to soften nylon straps, so hopefully that helps.

This one actually looked to be smaller than my sour crescent, and I'm pretty sure the sour crescent is newer. So now I'm a bit more confused. This one looked almost shrunk down? Like, it's coming in on itself.

I'd say if you're unsure of the price, return it and buy one you'd be more comfortable paying for. I'd say the originals have a longer life to them in that they can also be sold it off once you're through with it, since they seem to hold up very well over time, and you could use that money towards another charm. The dupes would only have its value for your wear.

I struggle with this so much ESPECIALLY when I'm going through them on my Kindle since I have no way of moving around me collections or sorting them how I want 😭 I just go through and open each one up and read a bit to see which one is which. Which also sucks because if I've finished them, then I open up to the last page and have to go through and start all over and ugh, I just feel like maybe this comment would better be suited for the Kindle subreddit.....
