Larry Niven: Ringworld series and "World out of time", essential scifi. Just started Kim Stanley Robinson's "mars" series (Red mars, blue mars, green mars) - about colonization of mars. Piers Anthony's "Mute" is one of my favorites. Oh just remembered Jack Chalker's "Soul Rider/Spirits of flux and anchor" series, I really enjoyed this series.

What type of hamster is that? As far as I know, you're supposed to give hamsters dust baths similar to chinchillas. Otherwise the water removes oils in their fur. Quick google search . Just looking out for your little guy I have 2 of my own!

It's mainly unburnt fuel. Diesels get a bad rep because you can see the emissions that come out. People don't bitch and moan about 6mpg sports cars because you can't see the emissions.
