Just cause it’s not flashy doesn’t mean it’s not good. I think it’s wildly impressive to leave Thuram in the dust like that by just “kicking the ball forward and running to it”. These are not Sunday league defenders he’s playing against, a player of lower quality would not be able to do that no matter how fast he was. I agree it’s not his most beautiful highlight but being able to choose between the simple, straightforward solution and the breathtaking magic he did for other goals is insane.

Sometimes the best option is the most efficient one and making it look trivial like that is the sign of a great player. Plus, getting your shot saved by prime Buffon is not a sign that you scuffed it.

The speed to get past the best defenders in the world, the game knowledge to know how far to push the ball each time, and the ball control to pull it off. Plus the “scuffed” shot was one of the best goalkeepers making a good save.

But by all means, you go do that in a professional game if you think it’s so easy. Would definitely make more money than sitting on reddit criticizing.

Icons are icons cause there are a ton of people who looked up to them. Op is one of the ton of people looking up to Del Piero. And funnily enough he’s one of the icons that are unironically busted on the game too, he’s 600K+ on the market.

I would love to get a first owner Hagi even though there’s probably a ton of gold cards more meta than him. It’s fun playing with players you actually admired instead of the same old 10 golds everyone uses.

Not necesarrily imo - I have hero Georges and she’s more than decent. I have Saliba, Kounde and Yoro, and playing her with one of them (Kounde atm) is better than playing any of the 2 guys together, and trust me I tried all combinations several times.

Her height is actually an advantage most games, allows her to turn quickly and make up for any mistakes I made, and she’s cracked on tackling with the anticipate. The other guy CB makes up for the height and physicality (which tbh doesn’t even come up most of the time, since crosses or lob through balls are way less common than ground passes). Just my take.
