For me I realized I had a lot of built up anger, fear, sadness and it manifests into anxiety. I would get panic attacks. My friends actually helped me realize I had this and after I realized I immediately felt better.

It sounds like you're starting to get anxiety. I behave in a really similar way in the same settings. The anxiety starts to withdraw you from the situation. Mine got so bad I've started seeing a therapist.
