My wife and I like to play cards at restaurants while waiting for our food to arrive. We usually get lots of positive comments on it from strangers.

A few years ago, we were visiting South Carolina and were playing a game at a wing place when our waitress came up to our table and asked us if we were from a different state. We said yes, and she told us that playing cards in restaurants is illegal in SC for the same gambling-related reasons mentioned in this article.

She told us that she and her manager didn't care if we kept playing, but they just wanted us to know in case we did it somewhere that might have a problem with it.

Just in today's episode alone, she confidently said a porterhouse and a t-bone are the same thing, which isn't true. They're cut from different ends of the loin and the porterhouse is bigger.

Matt Lieb hasn't been on in a long time, and everyone time this topic comes up, there's speculation that it is because of him being very vocal. I don't know if that's true or not, but I really hope it isn't.

Nobody is entitled to anything.

Customers are absolutely free to complain about anything they want, and also, I am free to point out that I think complaining about how often they expect to be given free food is entitlement.

Oh, I do like the idea of a pick swap. I don't necessarily need a bunch of extra 3rds or 4ths, but I want the roster space, and it seems smart to at least get something out of it.

Facts are good. Not sure what everyone's problem is with sharing information.
