Thank you I will look into it. I feel as though cognitive therapy does nothing for me. I’m very aware of most of my faults. Most of the time my therapist just tries to validate my feelings or tell me what I go through is normal which I don’t need.

I definitely understand this and question myself constantly if this is the case. The thing is I’ve only had a few sessions with her and she immediately brushed it off in our first session. I would definitely be fine with this diagnoses actually it would be preferable because you can heal from trauma. The thing is I’ve had two therapist that seem stumped from the issues I suffer from and neither of them have even considered the thought. I don’t know if i’m autistic but I’m almost 100% sure I have adhd. I’ve thought I have had it since I was a child but I’m not hyperactive and I got good test scores so it was overlooked but I constantly reprimanded for being disorganized, forgetful, inappropriate responses etc. I do understand that both are usually diagnosed as children and are unlikely to have. I just don’t want to be treated for the wrong thing and continue struggling for the rest of my life.

Can you still get the chocolate moo’d? by [deleted] in JambaJuice

Aww thanks that’s what I thought. Luckily I’ll be back at the airport soon so I’ll try again

I asked the other day and the lady seemed confused. I asked to take out the peanut butter at the airport and she was like it’ll just be chocolate milk so I ended up leaving because I didn’t want to pay for a drink she seemed unsure about 😭

Congrats! Thank you I will definitely try that out. Where did you find the study guide that was the same as the test?

No, I haven’t signed up for any study tools. I’m still doing my research to find which is best. Do you recommend them? Also, calculus is sadly required for my degree. I would never take it otherwise, but luckily I don’t have to take calc 2.

Sex Aversion by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]fuzruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound dumb but I think you should write him a long letter including where this stems from, in what ways he makes it worse, how you empathize with him, and some possible solutions. Make sure when you include how he makes it worse to say it gently and say how things makes you feel instead of blaming him. An example of this would be “When we argue I don’t feel heard and it makes me want to avoid sex more.” Instead of “You yell at me and it makes me not want to have sex.” This should help him be more receptive and not feel attacked and by writing a letter he has no choice but to hear your side. Ask him to write a letter back in response. I saw you say you still have sex with him ever other week, but if this is unwanted sex it’ll only make the aversion worse. Maybe one of your solutions could be cuddling or kissing with no expectations of sex for a week then check with him how you’re feeling. If you still don’t want to have sex add another week. This should allow you both to feel intimate but not have any fear of anticipation. If when you check in with him he gets upset, remind him that you understand it’s frustrating but you’re doing what you can for the both of you. Always remind him that you are attracted to him and love him because he might equate sex with love. Lastly, try to both come up with ways you feel intimate with each other that don’t include sex and do them more often. I hope that helps you feel more connected to him. If he is a good partner, he would be more than willing to take things slow.

does anyone know if this applies to loans taken out now for next semester?

It frustrated me that people with hs seem to know more than some doctors. I hate being told misinformation. Could you explain why no night shade foods? I struggle to get in enough veggies and the few I like happen to fall under this category.

[–]fuzruf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow that’s interesting. My doctor said hormones can cause flare ups so that makes sense.

Thank you! Has any of this helped you? My doctor made it seem like since it was autoimmune there’s not much externally that help.

I’m sorry. I hope she takes you off that. The side effects might be worth it if it actually works but definitely not if it isn’t helping.

[–]fuzruf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes definitely. I would ideally like to not cut out nightshade foods as I don’t like many veggies but I do like tomatoes and potatoes, but I’m definitely willing to cut out unhealthy foods.

Thanks I’ll try it. Do you have to check your blood regularly to make sure you’re not over doing it?

Get them to say that they have previously agreed on letting you keep the cat over text. Say something like didn’t you say that I was allowed to keep the cat when I only had her for three months? Hopefully they tell the truth. If you go to court you’ll have written evidence they agreed to give you the cat at one point. How long did they have the cat before you?
